Back Pain

"Over ten years ago I had severe muscle spasms in my back which resulted in a week off work, a lot of drugs and many years of pain.  The first five years I was in physical therapy and massage therapy two to three times a week.  My initial visits received the same reaction from the therapist "I don’t know what to do to help you."  Those weren’t encouraging comments.

"Many dollars and many years later I had reached a point where I was simply dealing with my pain by using muscle relaxers and ibuprofen by the handful everyday.  I was still in massage therapy but without much improvement.

"My doctor recommended I see Gary and 'the rest' as they say, 'is history'.  I have a strong aversion to needles and was hesitant about acupuncture but was willing to try anything.  Results from a couple of months of acupuncture were unbelievable.  I’ve been seeing Gary for almost a year.  The first couple of months I scheduled appointments weekly for acupuncture and massage.  Which in short order was reduced to massage only bi-weekly.  Now I have massage once every three weeks and at times have even gone four weeks.

"The time and money spent has been horrendous but it doesn’t compare to being in constant pain without relief.  As anyone who experiences this knows, it affects your entire life – how you interact with people, your energy level, everything.  I can honestly say, in addition to nearly eliminating all of my pain, I can’t remember when I have felt this good (physically, spiritually, and mentally).  I can see things much more clearly and brightly than I have for years.  I became acclimated to the pain and it’s as if the fog I’ve been living in for years has been lifted.  I attribute this 100% to the acupuncture treatments and massage therapy at Gary’s hands.

"In all honesty, I didn’t have much faith when I first scheduled my appointment because of the disappointments I’ve experienced in prior years.  However, I can not say enough good things about Gary.  I’ve recommended Gary to over twenty people and he has helped all that he has worked with.  I carry his business cards and whenever I hear of anyone who is suffering, I always tell them "I know someone who can help you".  No matter what they are experiencing, I believe Gary can make a difference in their life.
